Introduction
Swayam Krishi ("we", "us", "our") operates the Swayam Krishi Agri-Park website and visit-booking platform. This policy explains what information we collect when you enquire about or book a visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language rather than formal legal language, and it applies to visitors of our website and guests of our Agri-Park.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information — your name, phone number and email address, provided when you make an enquiry or a booking.
- Booking information — visitor type (individual, family, school, corporate or group), visit date, number of guests, and the details of the experience or slot you book.
- Enquiry information — details you share with us when requesting a school, corporate or group visit that requires approval before confirmation.
- Payment information — payments for bookings are processed through our configured payment provider. Swayam Krishi does not store your complete card, UPI or bank credentials; the payment provider handles and secures that information.
- WhatsApp communication — if you opt in, we send transactional messages about your booking, such as confirmations, visit reminders, enquiry status updates, and cancellation or refund updates. We do not use this channel for unrelated marketing.
- Website technical information — where applicable, our hosting and security infrastructure may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, used only for operating and securing the website.
How Information Is Used
We use the information we collect to:
- Manage your booking or visit, including scheduling and capacity planning.
- Provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
- Reconcile payments and transactions.
- Send operational notifications about your booking, enquiry or visit.
- Help prevent fraud and misuse of our booking system.
- Meet legal, tax and regulatory record-keeping requirements.
How Information May Be Shared
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate our website and booking platform.
- Our payment provider, to process and verify payments.
- WhatsApp/Meta, to deliver the transactional messages described above, if you have opted in.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, as needed to run the website.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention
We retain booking, enquiry and payment-related information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and to meet our accounting, legal and operational obligations.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, appropriate to the nature of that information.
Your Rights and Requests
You may contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, or to ask questions about how your information is used.
Data Deletion Requests
You can request deletion of your personal data. See our Data Deletion page for the process, including situations where certain information may need to be retained for accounting, payment, legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
Children's Information
Our Agri-Park welcomes school and family visits that may include children. Where a visit is booked by a school, guardian or organiser on behalf of minors, we rely on that booking party to provide any necessary information, rather than collecting information directly from children.
Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites (for example, maps or social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
